To promote its new credit card processing technology, Amazon had a camera crew profile three small businesses in the beta program. They mailed me the footage and I edited one video about each merchant. This fourth video showcased all three, and it was spread widely in Amazon’s press release announcing Local Register’s commercial launch.
My biggest viral hit, this remains one of the top inspirational videos in the history of YouTube. I’ve since adapted it for many corporate events, although many companies ask that I remove the clip of Charlie Chaplin dressed as Hitler!
This was an internal video to show at a quarterly review meeting, highlighting all the events the training team had done. The graphics and text were carefully designed to adhere to Laura Mercier’s new brand guidelines.
Teen HYPE is an organization which works with at-risk teens in Detroit. As a non-profit they are always looking for new ways to raise money, and for this video they let the teens do the talking. I was sent all the unedited interviews and I had to find the right clips to present Teen HYPE’s mission and the impact it has on these kids.
Grasshopper is an internet phone company that was looking to produce something with emotional weight and viral appeal. They knew most of the women they wanted to feature, but it was up to me to find all the clips from various paid and free sources. It took weeks of research to acquire the rights and then pull it all together.
Because of the popularity of my Inspirational Speeches video, various companies have asked me to produce movie montages on different subjects. Solera wanted a high energy video about the disruptive power of new technology. I scoured relevant movies for the perfect snippets and slowly pieced together something that fit their message, featuring some of Hollywood’s biggest stars.
